vCIO / Project Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced vCIO/Project Manager to join our team onsite. This hybrid role combines strategic IT leadership with hands-on project management. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, aligning technology initiatives with business goals while ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) for assigned clients, providing strategic IT guidance and roadmaps.
- Lead client technology business reviews (QBRs), identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Manage multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to scope, plan, and execute infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, cybersecurity initiatives, and more.
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, transparency, and value delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth execution and client satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT and project management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management, vCIO, or similar roles within an MSP or IT services environment.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure), cybersecurity, and business continuity.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver strategic technology plans.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- PMP, ITIL, or similar certifications are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field preferred.
